Mr. Klingensmith began his career in the financial industry in 1983 with Waddell & Reed, Inc. Along with 36 years of experience, he currently holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 66. Larry believes the genuine care and concern he has for his clients’ needs, goals, and aspirations, has been most impactful and beneficial when helping them achieve their financial dreams.
Having grown up in a blue-collar, middle-class family, Larry learned that success is not something one is entitled to, but rather earned through hard work, determination, and helping others. In his formative years, he labored for his father in construction and then worked as a machinist in order to put himself through college. Upon graduation, Mr. Klingensmith taught school and coached track. It wasn’t until he took an investment class that Larry found his true calling, the financial service profession. He was so captivated by the information presented and recognized its significance, that he had to share it with others. His many experiences have prepared him in assisting his clients in accumulating, protecting, and passing on their wealth to their loved ones and charitable causes.
Larry has a wife of 34 years, Jana Loucks Klingensmith, 3 children and 1 grandson. He enjoys all types of physical activities including walking, yoga, and golfing, as well as woodworking.
